College – Practice Week!

Playing catch up here, but realized I never posted about my practice week.

So between weeks 2 and 3 we had a bit of a break which allowed us some practice time for our first Manicure Assessments. Yes I know! Already! We had to record our results for a minimum of three clients and here were mine.

For all my clients I provided a full deluxe manicure, this included;

  • Hand Soak
  • Cuticle Work
  • Hand & Arm Scrub
  • Massage
  • Hand Mask with Mitts (I had to improvise here with a hot water bottle & warm towels)
  • A Selected Finish – Buff, Dark Colour, French Manicure

My first Client was Male so it made sense to end with the Buff finish.

I really enjoyed working on all 3 of my clients, I almost want to go out and promote manicures to people, it really is the most relaxing treatment for both manicurist & Client. The most prominent difference was the softness and appearance in their skin after! I’m currently using the Kaeso Manicure range and apart from leaving clients hands super soft the smell is gorgeous!

So that was my 3 Clients for practice week, no time to rest though, more practice is needed to get my timing in check and to prefect the routine. But I’m loving every minute, now onto assessments!
